Hindsight is 20/20 - Week 12

In this weekly section I will take a look at the games I missed on and see if I can clean up future mistakes. 

I want to first say I am going to start ranking my bets in three categories: Bet the Bank, If you like it do it, I wouldn't touch it. If I had done that with my week 12 picks I would have gone 6-2 with my Bet the Bank picks.
I would have won Atlanta, Minnesota, San Diego, Miami, Arizona, and New England.
I would have missed on the New York Jets and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With the sketchy spread I was thinking about adding the Skins to this section. All the money is on the 49ers and the spread has gone DOWN.  What? I think the 49ers will win but the Skins will cover. If you like it too bet it. I wouldn't touch the 49ers.

 1. Detroit -10 vs. Tampa
- Well I went with my gut over the trends. Always a stupid move. The look ahead situation may have came into play. It has been a consistent trend that needs to be followed. I really liked my gut here but wouldn't have banked on this pick.

2. Houston -10 vs. Jacksonville
- I guess Houston is just not that good. No trends I missed or chose not to follow here. I just made a bad pick. I liked this pick but wouldn't have banked on it. 

3. Cleveland -2 vs. Pittsburgh
- I was way off here. I was banking on this game. Maybe the Steelers are a better team than I thought or else maybe the Jason Campbell concussion skewed this game.  

4. Jets +3.5 @ Baltimore
- I still like my pick here. I guess the big thing I should have taken into perspective is the fact that Geno Smith has been struggling and he was playing on the road again. This should have offset the back to back road game trend. One of the few times a look ahead situation did not pan out. 

5. Oakland -1 vs. Tennessee
- I had no idea on this game. No hindsite here. My gut pick was off as it usually is. I wouldn't have touched this game. 

6. Chicago +1 @ St. Louis
- I couldn't figure out which way to go with this one and once again my gut pick was way off. This one would have fallen under the I wouldn't touch it category.

7. Washington +5 vs. San Fran
- I stick by this pick with the results we have seen from the public. This shows how bad of a team and how poorly coached a team Washington is. If they could have kept this within 2 scores the refs would have found a way for them to cover.

I should have gone with Tampa Bay. All the others I have no regrets. I would stick with those picks again.
